Steve Taylor has worked in environmental management for over 30 years, with varied roles including Bush Regenerator, National Parks Ranger and now as an Invasive Species Manager. For the last 22 years he has worked with the ACT Parks and Conservation Service and the ACT Environment Department.
Holding a degree in Applied Science - Vegetation and Wildlife Management from University of Canberra - Steve has also studied horticulture, statistics and economics. He is keen to leverage innovative technologies to effectively manage national parks and control the spread of invasive plants and feral animals that are a threat to Australia's native flora and fauna.
