Congratulations to the 2025 Sustainable Development Goals Challenge winners
A huge congratulations to Ormiston College and their Senior Geography Teacher Rosyln Minnikin, who were thge winners of the 2025 Sustainable Development Goals Challenge. Their incredible project, “When Strangers Take Root: Invasive Species on Coochiemudlo Island,” explored the impact of invasive plants on native ecosystems and biodiversity.
Using the power of ArcGIS Online, Survey123, and StoryMaps, the students collected field data, analysed patterns, and visualised their findings through an engaging and insightful StoryMap, turning science, technology, and creativity into real-world environmental action.
