Head of Geography at Tintern Grammar, Naomi Baulch has 20 years of experience as a teacher, specialising in the delivery of Geography, Environmental Studies, Science and Biology. She currently teachers Senior Geography and Biology for Years 10 to 12. Naomi is passionate about making geography accessible to her students, fostering their curiosity about the world around them. She believes that fieldwork is the cornerstone of every geographical study and has encouraged the use of GIS applications in her classes and curriculum in order to deliver rich and tangible learning experiences for her students when engaging with local and distant environments. During her career, Naomi has worked as a curriculum developer with various government departments, and has authored several science textbooks and academic journal articles concerning the role of fieldwork in Geography.
