Yes. If you did not activate your ArcGIS account in time, please email csc@esriaustralia.com.au include your school name, and request that your activation link be resent.

- How do we avoid relying on just one “champion teacher” in the school?
We recommend a whole-school approach by upskilling multiple staff members through the GIS Education Academy Learning modules, attending webinars and conference sessions, using ready-made lesson plans, and embedding GIS regularly across subjects.
- Are there any hidden or extra costs associated with my school’s subscription?
No – the GIS for Schools subscription is completely free
- Are the monthly e-newsletters relevant for teachers?

- Does Esri Australia’s Education Program Manager do site visits to deliver professional development courses?
No, we no longer offer this service, we provide support to our school community through virtual forums. We have a comprehensive range of virtual learning resources that teachers from around the country can access at any time. We also provide webinars and attend conferences.
- How do I find a layer on ArcGIS Online (AGOL)?
We offer a range of resources to help you find and use layers in ArcGIS Online, including our GIS Education Academy Learning module1 our data catalogue and our YouTube Channel
- How do I use AGOL, Survey123, QC, Dashboards or Storymaps in Education?
For help on using our products in a classroom or field environment, please follow our GIS Education Academy Learning modules to become upskilled in no time.

Esri Australia’s GIS for Schools program has been reviewed in line with the Safe Technologies for Schools (ST4S) government initiative and has been approved for safe use in schools.
- How do we troubleshoot login errors or permission problems?

- Do I have to use the desktop software with my students to get the most out of the subscription?
No. ArcGIS Online is our cloud-based mapping application and can be accessed via any web browser. This application has many of the capabilities as the desktop equivalent, making it a convenient and effective solution for accessing and using geospatial technologies with your students.
- Can I view the maps, surveys and stories my students are working on?
Yes. If you are set up as an ‘Administrator’ then you can access each student’s account and view their saved content
