Cynthia Parayiwa

Conducting research for the Australian Institute of Health & Welfare.
Cynthia is an Australian National University PhD candidate who has been spatially and statistically exploring the experiences of women pregnant during natural disasters in Queensland. She has been using GIS methods for over 5 years to analyse and report on government health and welfare datasets in the public sector.
Along with her studies, Cynthia is also a Senior Research Officer at the Australian Institute of Health & Welfare.
Prior to commencing her PhD, Cynthia completed a Bachelor of Science/Arts with First Class Honours from the Australian National University.
