From unveiling a sophisticated virtual 3D model of Townsville, to helping Adelaide police address the state’s bikie gang wars - the iconic Directions 2013 seminar series provided attendees with an unforgettable look into the latest advancements and innovations in GIS.
More than 1,400 of Australia’s spatial professionals came together for Esri Australia’s Directions 2013 seminar series.
With a line-up including local and international experts from Esri; and GIS specialists from Australian councils, government organisations, community groups and commercial businesses – the three week extravaganza launched in Adelaide in February and toured to all of Australia’s capital cities (as well as Townsville).
The events sought to uncover the latest advancements in spatial technology – and showcased some of the most fascinating applications of GIS, Australia-wide.
Details regarding Directions 2014 will be made available early next year.
