Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI)
As leaders in Australia’s $2.1 billion spatial industry, Esri Australia and the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) have joined forces to expand the use of spatial technology into new, ‘untapped’ markets.
As part of their industry-first partnership, the organisations work together to raise the profile and understanding of GIS in emerging sectors, such as agribusiness, health and engineering; and provide support to organisations around the country already using the technology.
The alliance is expected to drive new training and educational opportunities in the local market, and see the production of joint industry reports and in-depth analysis of challenges facing the spatial industry.
SSSI is one of Australia's peak spatial industry bodies. Representing the interests of hundreds of surveying and spatial science professionals nation-wide, SSSI specialise in disciplines including land surveying, engineering and mining surveying, cartography, hydrography, remote sensing and spatial information science.
Esri Australia training courses and events are officially recognised by the Surveying and Spatial Science Institute (SSSI) and contribute towards SSSI professional certification and continuing professional development (CPD) accreditation. Learn more about SSSI and the CPD program.
