GIS for Education
Esri Australia has a genuine desire to make a difference, and we have a strong track record of ‘giving back’. Founded as the Environmental Systems Research Institute,
Esri was established to grow and leverage the science of GIS to create a better world.
Esri Australia’s GIS in Schools Program has been in operation for over 12 years, and has helped over 700 schools across Australia introduce
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial learning into their classrooms.
We are also a long-time supporter, through technology donation and mentoring, of the national Spatial Technology in Schools (STIS) competition, which encourages primary and secondary students to use GIS to solve real-world problems.
Find out how you can introduce GIS into your school’s classroom - contact us today on 1800 447 111.
